About Us
Catalytic and Redox Solutions LLC is a North Carolina State University (NCSU) based startup founded in 2018 by Prof. Fanxing Li and Prof. Luke Neal to facilitate commercialization of catalytic and chemical looping technologies for chemical production and energy conversion. Dr. Li, the Manager and CEO of the company, is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at NCSU and has over 80 publications in the field of chemical looping and catalysis with emphasis upon energy conversion and chemical production. Dr. Neal, the Chief Technology Officer, is a Research Assistant professor in Chemical Engineering at NCSU and has 25 papers in the field with a focus on catalysis. Both Dr. Li and Dr. Neal have extensive experience managing funded research projects in the academic setting.

Our Business Plan
Research funded by the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation at NC State University has led to the production of substantial amounts of promising technical data for our technologies. CatRedox, an NCSU based start-up, has obtained licenses for these technologies. Catalytic and Redox Solutions LLC seeks to add value to these technologies by pursuit of government grants and/or industrial sponsors to generate the necessary commercialization data to further derisk the technologies.
We are open pursue strategic partnerships to advance the technology towards commercialization.
